Program & How It Works
What exactly is Master Filmmaker — a course, an agency, or coaching? +
It's a hybrid consultancy, not a course we hand you and wish you luck with. We build the client-acquisition system for you — your offer, paid-ad funnels, landing pages, CRM, automations, and lead qualification — and we work with you one-on-one on the parts only you can own: your positioning, your sales calls, and your creative. Think of us as an embedded growth team across all three pillars: Marketing, Sales, and Fulfillment.
Is it done-for-you or done-with-you? +
Both. Roughly 80% is done-for-you — the funnels, CRM, ad frameworks, scripts, and automations are pre-built and plugged into your business. The other ~20% is done-with-you: one-on-one calls to tailor your offer, sharpen your sales process, and shape the creative to your brand. You shoot the ad content from scripts we write, so you keep the one skill that matters most — the ability to generate leads on demand.
How does the lead system actually work, end to end? +
Paid ads (primarily Meta and Instagram, sometimes LinkedIn) drive traffic to an opt-in and then to a conditional-logic qualification form built on the BANT framework — Budget, Authority, Need, Timing. Unqualified leads are routed out; qualified, decision-maker leads land on your calendar, often after watching a short video. The result: you spend your time only on calls with people who are genuinely ready to buy.
Do you help me hire and step out of fulfillment? +
Yes — building a team is part of the work. We help you source, hire, and train editors and shooters, and we keep a vetted contractor database. This usually kicks in once you're around $15–20K/month and the economics make sense, so you can move from doing the work to running the business.
What does getting started look like? +
It starts with a strategy call to see whether we're a fit. If we move forward, you'll have about a one-hour onboarding call with our Director of Operations — a full audit of your business and P&L, market research on your target verticals, and building your offer — then straight into the week-one system build. Ads are typically live within 2–3 weeks.
What's Included
What do I actually get? +
The full system: your offer built with you, pre-built ad-creative frameworks and scripts, done-for-you funnels and landing pages, a fully configured CRM with automations and follow-up sequences, and sales training. On the support side: a private Slack channel with Eric and the core team, one-on-one calls, weekly live sessions, and sales-call audits and roleplay. Support is heaviest in the first couple of months — often 3–5 touchpoints a week.
What does the sales training cover? +
Live weekly sessions, recorded-call reviews, and roleplays — discovery, pitching, and 30+ hours of objection handling — led by closers who've personally collected millions in sales. We audit your real calls and hand you the exact corrections, so you improve every week instead of guessing.
Do I keep the systems after the engagement ends? +
Yes. Everything we build — your CRM, funnels, offer, automations, and the skills you develop — is yours to keep. The whole point is that you own a machine, not that you rent an agency forever.
Who do I actually get access to? +
A full team, not a single coach: a media-buying/ads expert, an operations lead for your offer and systems, sales coaches who review your calls, and founder Eric on his sessions — plus daily communication in your dedicated Slack channel and one-on-ones as you need them.
Pricing & ROI
How does pricing work? +
It's a one-time investment — not a monthly retainer, and never a cut of your revenue, so you keep 100% of what you earn. The investment scales to the length and level of support you choose; we offer 3-, 6-, and 12-month engagements. Pay-in-full earns a discount, and financing is available. Your exact investment is tailored to your goals and confirmed on your strategy call.
Do you take a percentage of what I make? +
No. There's no revenue share, no performance cut, and no back-end fee. You invest once for the build and the coaching, and every dollar your new clients pay is yours.
Can the clients you help me land actually pay for the program? +
That's the entire model. There are only two ways to grow a business: get more clients and make each one worth more. We build a measurable system where you can expect a strong return on ad spend, and for most clients a single new retainer more than covers the investment.
Why retainers instead of just booking more projects? +
Project work at thin margins isn't an asset — the day you stop working, it's worth nothing. Retainers carry far higher margins, higher lifetime value, and predictable monthly revenue, which is exactly what lets you step out of shooting and editing and actually scale.
Is ad spend included in the price? +
No — ad spend is separate and runs on your own ad account. You start small (around $20–30/day) to gather data, then scale the winners. The program fee and your ad budget are two different things.
Financing & Payment
Do you offer payment plans or financing? +
Yes. You can pay in full for a discount, or spread the investment over time. We work with financing partners that let you split payments across several months — from a few months up to longer terms depending on the provider — often at 0% interest. Many clients do a quick soft pre-approval right on the call.
I don't have the full amount free right now — can I still start? +
Often, yes. The financing options exist precisely so you don't have to pay everything at once — the idea is that the clients you close pay off the balance over the engagement. We'll walk through the numbers with you honestly and won't push you into anything that doesn't make sense for your situation.
Guarantee & Risk
Is there a guarantee? +
Yes — an ROI guarantee. If you do the work and haven't at least recouped your investment by the end of your engagement, we keep working with you at no additional cost until you do. It's built so we both have skin in the game.
What are the conditions on the guarantee? +
Simply that you actually do the work — show up to your calls, take the sales calls the system books for you, and implement what we build. The guarantee rewards execution; it isn't voided arbitrarily, and the exact terms are spelled out in your agreement.
What if it just never works? +
For clients who do the work, that hasn't been our experience. The rare cases that stall come from changing the process, moving too fast, or going quiet — not from the system itself. We'd rather turn down a fit we can't help than take someone we can't get results for.
Fit & Your Situation
Will this work for my niche? +
Almost certainly. We've worked with 750+ agencies across video, photo, marketing, and animation — everything from solo operators to companies doing tens of millions a year. The core process is the same regardless of niche: one clear offer per audience, laser-targeted ads, a qualification filter, and booked calls. We'll steer you toward higher-ticket, service-based clients where the math works best.
I'm a photographer, not a “video agency” — does that matter? +
No. Plenty of our clients started photo-first or in adjacent creative fields — including a studio owner with 15 years in photography who had never shot video, and a photography-only client who closed a $56K deal during the program. The system cares about how you position and sell, not your job title.
Does this work outside the US? +
Yes. We have clients across Canada and internationally closing high-ticket retainers. The model is geography-flexible as long as your offer is positioned for the right clients.
What if I don't have relevant case studies yet? +
You don't need them to start. Several clients landed their first medical or B2B retainers with zero prior proof — the ad system itself is proof you can find a client's customers (“I found you, didn't I?”). We help you use exactly that on your calls.
Do you only work with video agencies? +
No — video, photo, marketing, and animation agencies, and creative businesses of all kinds. If you run an agency and want more qualified calls with a specific type of client at scale, the system fits.
Ads & Leads
I've never run ads before — is that a problem? +
Not at all. We script your ads, build the targeting and copy, and set everything up; you just shoot the creative. We use varied ad styles — founder/podcast-style, UGC, case-study — designed to give value and lower resistance rather than hard-sell.
Do I have to be on camera? +
Up to you. Shoot it yourself or hire a spokesperson or creator — either way, we write the script.
What ad budget do I need? +
Start small — around $20–30/day for the first month to gather data — then scale the winners. Some clients ramp to $100–250/day once it's working. Remember, ad spend is separate from the program fee.
How do you keep the leads from being junk? +
We add deliberate friction. Conditional opt-in forms qualify on revenue, company size, budget, and timing, and route unqualified people out of the funnel. We also condition the Meta pixel on your good leads only. Cost-per-lead may rise, but show rates and close rates go up — which is what actually matters.
What lead numbers should I expect? +
It varies by industry, but common benchmarks are a strong return on ad spend (often in the range of 10 to 1), cost-per-lead roughly $50–90, and cost-per-booked-call around $100–200. We tune these with you week to week.
Time & Commitment
How much of my time does this take? +
Plan on roughly an hour a day, or a couple of hours a week. Support is heaviest in the first two months — often 3–5 calls a week — while we build, then it flexes to what you need. Your results track directly to how fast you do the work.
How long is the program? +
Engagements run 3, 6, or 12 months. The system is the same; longer terms simply give a longer runway of support — because every time you solve one bottleneck, a new one appears as you scale. You can start shorter and extend later, prorated, without paying twice.
Results & Timeline
How fast will I see results? +
Your infrastructure is typically live in about 2–4 weeks. Many clients see a return within the first 4–12 weeks — often by repackaging their offer and re-offering it to their existing network before ads even scale. We can't promise a specific number, because too many variables (including your own execution) are involved — and we won't.
What results should I realistically expect? +
A conservative benchmark many clients hit is 5–8 retainers within six months — for example, six retainers at ~$4K/month is around $24K/month in recurring revenue. Some close a large deal in the first 30 days; others build more steadily. Everything we recommend is battle-tested across 750+ agencies.
Are your case-study numbers real, or just one good month? +
The results we show come from real clients and real closed deals, not one-off spikes — but we won't guarantee you'll match any specific figure. What we guarantee is a proven, validated system and the support to execute it.

What CRM and tools does this run on? +
Primarily GoHighLevel (about $97/month), set up for you with funnels, landing pages, automations, and follow-up/recovery sequences pre-built from our snapshots. We map your client journey in Monday.com or Notion and run ads through Meta Ads Manager. We reimburse the CRM cost during your engagement.
Will the automations sound robotic to high-level prospects? +
No. The workflows are standardized, but the language is customized per offer and audience so it reads like it's coming from you — not a bot.
What if my sales calls aren't in English? +
We've handled it — for example, coaching clients whose calls are in German by running transcripts through AI, breaking them down, and reviewing recordings for nonverbal cues. The core of selling is human communication, whatever the language.
Trust & Skepticism
How is this different from the courses I've already bought? +
A course hands you information and wishes you luck. We build the system with you and coach you through execution — and we've onboarded companies already doing eight figures a year, so it isn't “beginner” material. The value is speed and a proven system, not more theory. If you already have a solid plan, we'll tell you to go execute it and come back with data.
I've been burned by a cheap agency or a past consultant — why are you different? +

Contract & Getting Started
I've read some criticism online, and there's a non-disparagement clause — what's that about? +
We're not perfect, and we don't hide from criticism — you'll find honest discussion of us on Reddit and Trustpilot, and we'd genuinely rather you do your due diligence. Any non-disparagement language applies to active-client conduct, not to your research, and we're happy to walk through and adjust the agreement so you're comfortable before you sign.
What does the termination clause actually mean? +
In practice, it only covers things like not harassing active clients or spamming the community. We're glad to clarify or clean up that language on the call — the goal is for you to sign with full confidence, not to trap you.
